Visitors this week
This is another big week for football recruiting. Michigan had a big week/weekend last week (LINK), but this week could be just as big by the time it's finished. The most immediate payoff might be with Massachusetts ATH Eamonn Dennis, who has received a couple crystal balls for Michigan recently. The staff held a camp on June 8, and there's another one taking place today, June 10. Usually, I post these later in the week, but the visitors are coming in early this week since it's summer for a lot of players. Michigan is getting visitors from 2020's #4 tight end and 2021's #1 tight end, too.
Here's this week's list: LINK
Magnus, your 40 and shuttle times for Henry Gray have to be flipped, unless he’s full DK Metclaf.
Any info on the reasons behind Martin's transfer?
Probably playing time and possibly being passed up by Sainristil. Iowa makes sense since that is home for him.
It sounds like just one of those things where he didn't like it here and missed home.
I'm sure playing time was a factor and he probably didn't like getting passed in spring ball, but it's not like he'll be playing this year for Iowa either. At least here, he'd get some back up snaps at least, and who knows if he could have made a move in fall. He probably could graduate in 3 years and be eligible for a grad transfer next year and still transfer and start playing somewhere else at exactly the same time as he's going to now.
I'm a little surprised we're recruiting so many TEs considering "speed in space".
Well, Gattis will only be here one year, so...
Literally and figuratively, there are a lot of moving parts with the TE position.
Hibner sure looks like he could play DE at some point in his college career.
I assume that means that Shea’s brother is going to decommit?
I hope it doesn’t mean a transfer is forthcoming.
You never know...
Love that JJ McCarthy is already living up to his pledge to recruit his class and the 2020 group by getting back up for this visit.
