Vincent Gray was great today! And it was against the best receivers and #1 offense in the nation.

No better embodiment of Michigan’s turnaround the past year than Vincent Gray. So proud of these boys. I love sports and today was one of my favorite sports moments ever.

Give Vince Gray his flowers this season. He earned them this season, and he played excellent coverage today; even when their receivers made outstanding individual plays. He never quit, even when OSU Wilson/Olave made some back breaking plays when the game was in doubt. Thanks for posting, he definitely earned some acknowledgement.

There were a number of times early in his career that he just didn't look like he would put it together. And he was called out because of it.
But man, was he clutch yesterday. It's funny how continuously working at something to get better at it pays off in the end, even if you're not great, or even competent at the beginning.
Those who stay, and those who work, will be champions.

We have the #2 ranked secondary in the country per PFF, and they played like it yesterday. Gray was great, Moore made 9 tackles (including one that saved a TD), Moten brought down JSN on a critical crossing route in the red zone to save a TD. OSUs longest pass play was only 39 yards and they had a grand total of two completions over 25 yards. Great day by Gray and that entire group!

Vincent played tough and well vs OSU and this season, sometimes when hurt. OSU made some great catches in good coverage. Love that Vincent did not take any of their arrogant crap while keeping under control.
