UofM Day at Comerica Park
Thought I'd throw this out there for anyone interested. The Tigers host a day for UofM fans called "Wolverines in the D". The deal is $22 a ticket for Friday September 21st (Tigers play the Twins) gets you in to the designated Michigan fan section and a pretty cool t-shirt. $5 from each ticket package goes back to a scholarship fund at UofM.
Here's the shirt:

Looks like I'll be asking for the 21st off from work. That should be a fun day, I love September baseball games.
Its a night game. 7:05 start
When is Sparty Day?
Two days later
Nobody will be there since they will be Sporting a 2-2 record by that point
I think every day is "Sparty Day"; after all, someone has to sweep up once the game is over.
That's pretty fantastic. I wish I could be there. Hopefully the M section will do all the same chants that are done at football games.
I can definitely envision this becoming a huge thing. We could take our pep band and really turn the Tigers game into an M event.
Football chants? Aim higher and go for the hockey chants!
Also, since it is summer, is there even a pep band currently for events?
will run ya $29, and $5 goes to their Athletic Dept., so not a worthy cause.
Typical.
2. An overnight with Chris L. Rucker
3. A ride with Derrick Nix through East Lansing
OR
4. A masked trip to a frat house with Mark Dell.
Aww, fuck it. Don't go. Go Blue, Stay Legal!
What? No Chips day? Just kidding. I may have to look into this.
When is Northwest Michigan College day?
not really a baseball fan but might actually go to this.
It's the day before the Notre Dame game, so I'm assuming the band won't be able to make it. If I ran the AD, I would give extra points to have a mini version of the band (probably only 1 percussionist, a tuba, and a few horns and woodwinds) show up at Comerica, play for the game, then drive to South Bend the next day. They should get there in plenty of time for the game (it's at 8 p.m.).
Still, sounds awesome. I will do my best to attend. MGoBoard, please make sure to remind us (me) as it approaches!
That's the Friday night before the ND game. A lot of the Michigan faithful will be driving out to South Bend. That's where I'll be 9/21, otherwise I'd be down.
