Ummm... what?
Apparently there is a rumor around campus that Sam Mcguffie might transfer because he thinks he's too small?

Personally, I think this is ridiculous, but it's shocking how many people would not be disappointed if he transferred. Is he bad or something? Did I miss him being one of the big playmakers as a freshman?

Some place in Texas, I'd buy. Some place between here and Texas, I'd buy. Some place more like Texas (in the southwest), I'd buy. But GVSU? That would be attractive how? An insignificant school in a cold, broke state far from home, where you won't get on TV or get a name-brand diploma. Right.
This doesn't pass any kind of smell test whatsoever. The boy may be concussed, but I don't think he's been lobotomized.

Bo Schemblogger is pulling shit out of the air; he is the only person who has posted anything about this until this thread came up. I don't even know why Brian links to him; his website provides little to no relevant analysis or news on Michigan football. All that blog does is copy and paste premimum Scout and Rivals articles and other articles on Michigan football.
There's nothing to worry about; everyone just relax.

I remember hearing this rumor too not too long ago. He would pretty much be throwing away any chance he has to make a name for himself playing college football, not to mention doing anything beyond college. Cullen Finnerty and David "Circus" Kircus were statistically two of the greatest athletes to ever play college football, but they didn't achieve those things at the highest level, so nobody except stat hounds will even know who they are in 5 years. I can't believe McGuffie would want that. I am a graduate of MI (2000), and GVSU (2007).
