UM Basketball Coach John Beilein and MSU Basketball Coach Tom Izzo both in Brighton Tonight for Country Day v Powers Basketball Game. Beilein was sporting a UM Golf Shirt and sat in the second row on the North side of the gym. Izzo sat at in the South side of the gym in about the fifth row. Beilein sat a few rows from a man believed to be former UM great Terry Mills. Izzo spoke with a a former MSU Hockey Player from Flint Powers. Grand Blanc Football players WR Tony Jones (NW) and RB Justice Hayes appeared to be at game. Ray McCollum played well, as did Junior Amir Williams for Country Day. 6-10 Williams really disrupted Patrick Lucas Perry's slash and drive game. Perry was off, and not able to score very often on the penetration. Patrick O'Brien Sr., (Brother of Sophomore Danny O'Brien, DL mentioned in another thread) played OK but not great. He was seen coughing a lot in warm ups, probably sick. Powers J. Hawkins a Jr. transfer from Beecher made some key shots and some tough drives and dunks. Country Day won by about 12. Both Coaches stayed for the whole game and were conspicuous.

Conspicuous like Izzo ambushed Beilein in the hallway next to the vending machine and smacked him with a folding chair? Part of me wants bizzare random events to happen regularly in close proximity to me. Nothing permanent, just bizzare.

In unrelated news Izzo and Beilein have signed on for a match at next week's WWE Wrestlemania. Apparently the storyline is that several men in ski masks are going to interfere causing Beilein to win by disqualification. The Free Press headline is "Michigan can't win cleanly, Izzo looks strong!"

"... a man believed to be former UM great Terry Mills..." Let's see. Terry is about 6'10" and (these days) well over three bills. That couldn't be too many other people.
