Go back to OU for another year or get drafted by the Lions?
This one was easy.

Well, the Lions present the opportunity to come in and be a HERO!!
BTW, just went back and checked Joey Harrington's stats:
Passer Rating: 133 (mediocre at best)
CMP%: 55 (really horrible)
What made anyone think he would be a good NFL QB??
Millen should be castrated and barred from ever appearing in public let alone being on air.

Otherwise I'm sure he'd have drafted a wide receiver instead.

for me as a lions fan.
Bradford would have been the next joey. They are almost identical in size (that's what she said), the fact that they are system college qbs, and in lack of an NFL arm.

Sam Bradford Career:
Passer Rating: 179 (HIGHEST EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
CMP%: 65 (Excellent)
YPA: 9.5
TD: 86
INT: 16

Bradford: 6-4 and 218
Joey 6-4 and 222
I think that is a comparison.

Oops, you're right -- everyone who is like 6-4 and around 220 is a prototype NFL QB.
There are probably 30-40 college QBs that meet that criteria and most of them will go pro (but not in football).
Sorry, I meant a VALID comparison based upon the ability to be an NFL QB.

is a superior NFL prospect anyways. Maybe the Lions will move down a couple of spots and draft him instead.

I think most boards had Bradford rated higher. He's more accurate and still has a strong arm, and I think might be a bit more mobile as well. The danger is that Bradford hardly had to face a pass rush at Oklahoma.
I still don't get why people are so gonzo for Stafford, other than arm strength. His accuracy improved every year but topped out at 61%, he was mid to low 50s his first two years. And it isn't like he's been short on talent around him either. He might be OK, but I just don't see him as a star.
