Here's Garrett Rivas and some classic 2006 content against the Michigan of the Central variety...
As always, thanks WH and enjoy!
I was at Michigan during this time. We still never won anything significant, but it was so much more fun watching these teams with Hart, Henne, Long, Harris, etc.
If you were here in '03, at least you got to see Michigan beat OSU.
That was my senior year in high school, but 2nd time visiting Michigan and got to see The Game! My 1st was the 38-0 blowout of Notre Dame earlier in the season, which might have been even better, as my friend who's a huge ND fan was with me.
In honor of Thomas Rawls, as he ran for 71 yards in this game:
Apologies for the incorrect ticket last round – agreed that it's not the most well-designed. While I have many of these tickets in my personal collection, I can't get to them at the moment so these are pulled from the internet.

38 days? The summer is going by fast, and if you're like me and live in SE Michigan, you can only hope that fall is, well, dry.....or drier.
And less humid.
It wasn’t unbearably hot in in Georgia until a week ago. It’s been an amazing summer. Can’t wait until fall.
After 2020 I promised that I’d never bitch about Michigan playing a directional school from the MAC ever again. I never knew how wonderful those games were until those games were taken away.
I stayed up until 12:45 to see this one but couldn’t last any longer.
Apologies – in Mountain Time right now so "There are..." time catches me off guard as to how early it is.
A question for the board. When was the last time UM had a great leader at the qb position?
All those platitudes, a gamer, a winner, raises the level of his teammates, tireless worker, guys will run through a wall for him, cocky confidence?
And can Cade or JJ be this qb for us?
One could argue that Will Speight was that guy. But literally got broken by Iowa.
I was about to post something snarky about this comment but decided to look at Speight's stats prior to doing so.
You actually could argue Speight was having a very good season prior to the Iowa game, thus, yes, that was the last year we had good QB production.
I might still argue there is a difference between production and leadership. My memory is that he wasn't necessarily an amazing leader despite the production, but that might be a remnant of the HBO series. I won't list all of the caveats which should be applied to that.
Garrett Rivas? "Cookie for a field goal..."
Can't wait for the season to begin. Just love Michigan football. Moreso when we win the games we should (and shouldn't).
Haven’t heard any of these in a while. Throws receivers open. Has a nice touch on the ball. Has a knack for finding the open receiver. Rainbow. Rope. Leads the receiver nicely.
