There are...
...days until Quentin Sickels (Guard 1944,1946-1948) sees Michigan take command and a large presence early in 2019, starting with a night game at The Big House!

Go Blue.
We need more 62s in Michigan Football history, it's probably the least historic number of all 99.
My favorite thing about Quentin Sickels though is his quote about leaving for the military and saying "I hope to come back and help beat the tar out of those guys at Ohio State."
He did come back in 1946, and two years later participated on one of the greatest Michigan Football teams to ever do it:
Thanks WH and enjoy as always!
Look at those beautiful home vs home unis.
USC v. UCLA is still done that way and it looks glorious...
Only question is, which hideous OSU uniform abomination would the buckeyes wear? I'm pretty darn confident we'd be in our traditional home unis rather than some faux commemoratives such as what we wore vs Notre Dame in 2011.
Just a wild guess, but I'd bet he DIDN'T go by the nickname "Hammerin' Sickels". Not in that era.
Not in any era!
The church referred to in the Wiki article is a neat old building, if you've never seen it. I believe that, at one point, they owned the old brownstones (since modernized) around the corner on Gladstone as well.
I know this is being senile old man, but it scares me how fast time goes.
I remember feeling like I JUST looked at the one that was something like "95 days..."
It could be worse. At least your keeping track of the current year and not wondering where did that Denard Robinson kid from Florida get off to?
Yeah, our AI overlords typically speed up time toward the end of a simulation’s beta testing.
Unreasonable expectations begin to form about 60 days out. Can't wait for us to win every single game by 47 points.
