Terrence Robinson - Option qb?

Submitted by GoBlue00 on

So I know Terrence Robinson hasn't even played yet because of injury. I think he was gonna be the slot wr in where Odoms is at. Odoms has been doin pretty good, so I dont know if he will come in and play right over him? Maybe take his time in the slot spot getting more plays as games go by. But, I was watching his rivals film and he was playing qb. Does anyone think its possible he could be our option qb the remaining of the year? Since Feagin is going to be redshirted, Brown keeps getting hurt, Robinson I believe is coming back this week. It would be nice to see the "Dream Shake" you see all over You Tube. Thoughts?

I know Threets our QB, but Have Robinson in there for a few option plays is what i'm saying.

I doubt this would be the case. Threet has been making good decisions in the zone-read play. Obviously Threet is not a runner, but he's done enough in the offense to make it effective. Since Robinson is not a threat to throw the ball, there is no advantage to using him over, say, Carlos Brown; we've all see how well that's been going so far.

I think that Robinson's going to get some game action at slot to see what he can bring to the table, which is hopefully a lot.

I'm looking forward to when, after we try Carlos Brown, Terrence Robinson, Zoltan Mesko, and Tim Jamison at QB, someone come up with the revolutionary idea:

"What if we try Steven Threet at QB? He's played QB at the collegiate level!"

I decided to try it in NCAA 2009. However, I couldn't find the setting to maximize the abs, so my version of T-Rob might not be accurate. Anyhow, to get to the point, playing him at QB was a disaster. If anyone has a way to get this info to RichRod, please do so -- I'd like to avert catastrophe.
