Sugar Bowl Preview: VT Specialists

Submitted by MGoShoe on

A review of Virginia Tech's specialists is the last in the series of Hokies position group previews penned by my son Ryan for Maize Pages.

Previously: offensive backfield, receiving corps, offensive line, defensive front seven and defensive secondary.

While you're there, check out my list of Wolverines on Twitter. Now with current, former and recruited Michigan hockey players.

There's lots of good info on the site. Ryan did a great job.

I'm not going to steal their (Shoe and Ryan's) thunder, but those who have interest in the VT kicking situation would do well to give this article a read.

Michigan's special teams play has been spotty this year, but the Journell suspension should tip the table to Michigan's favor.  Without the suspension, I would have put the special teams at about even or a slight edge for VT.
