Stevie Brown and Morgan Trent

So just mulling this at an odd hour of the night. Stevie Brown obviously showed up this week. He looked, dare I say, good. On a couple of pass plays, the last Badger touchdown in particular, Brown and Trent were on the play side of the pass. I'm starting to wonder if maybe, Trent is the one that is causing the weak secondary play on that side of the field. He already admitted to being at fault for the ND TD when they sent one receiver out for a pass. Could it be that we've been riding the wrong guy in the secondary?

A lot of people don't know that Stevie Brown screwed up the world economy. Also, Morgan Trent runs a 4.13 40. Sometimes I wish Stevie would borrow Carson Butler's iron if you know what I mean.

Dude didn't have many chances to fail against Wisconsin's "passing game". I think Trent took responsibility for the ND TD "as a senior" which is a little different than saying it was his fault or the fault of the long grass for tripping him. There, I proved it. Stevie Brown still sucks. Order has been restored to the universe.

Did Brown have another one of his patented "dive at the feet of the guy with the ball" plays when Wisconsin's RB (not FAT ASS HILL but the other guy) ran it all the way down to the 5 yard line?  Somebody totally blew that tackle, it may have been someone else, though.

To my untrained eye, it seemed as if Brown actually played well on Saturday. The one error I saw was that, on their first touchdown, he, along with with Warren, Ezeh, and Thompson all got sucked up into the line when the lead blocker hit the dive hole, and the RB bounced it outside.

On the touchdown Brown was right up on the line, just inside Jamison-- certainly opened up the outside, but he was probably where he was asked to be.

He didn't play poorly, but certainly the entire defense was helped by the front four's performance in the second half.  Graham, Johnson, Taylor, Jamison and Martin were RIDICULOUSLY DOMINANT in the second half, and I loved every second of it.

Let's hope the D continues next week-- going to be alot tougher to collapse on Juice than it was on Evridge.

missed that tackle on Clay. It was terrible.

 I thought Brown played well.....he's kind of like an ump or a ref, if you dont notcie if, he's doing ok.

In re-watching the game, I though Mouton played physical as well.

But, Trent keeps making mistakes it seems

Wisco's last TD was on Trent. I rewatched the game yesterday, and the WR faked an out route, Trent got his hips turned, the WR cut up the field, and Evridge made a great throw just before Stevie Brown got there. Tough play, but it was on Trent.
