Spring Game QB's...

All this shananigans going on about our Quarterbacks is driving me crazy. Sheridan (broken leg?) and Cone(wrist?), wtf? Anyways, instead of going back to a bunch of different posts, I thought we should bring it into one forum. Who will be the QBs for the spring game? Obviously Tate is one, but who else? Feagin? Tate both ways?

I would think that we may see a few guys in there. Feagin perhaps, but I tend to think that there is a reason why RR won't let him throw the ball. I remember reading or hearing that Terrence Robinson played QB in HS so perhaps he may take a few snaps. One of the other freshman recruits played QB and I think we may see a little out of him but for the most part I would tend to think that Forcier will not be allowed to be touched during the spring game and he will have all the opportunity in the world to show us what he's got.

i'd say tate for one (obviously) then probably furrha. i doubt coner would take snaps and, assuming nick is out for spring, who is left? #18?

I think that #18 you've seen in practice pictures is just a potential walk-on -- a kid who might not even get a roster spot. I saw his name in one of the papers but can't find it now. Nader Furrha is not an early enrollee, at least as far as I know. I guess we'll have to treat Tate with kid gloves at this point, since he's about it for qb.

I'm not sure of this... but I feel like I saw Furrha in a picture at a spring practice. I don't remember if he was suited up or not, so it's possible he was just stopping by, but I remember seeing him and being almost sure it was him. UPDATE: It was actually Tate's facebook where I saw the pic (it's not there anymore but it is on Nader's, call me what you will). That's why I was sure it was him, because he was tagged. And no he was not suited up, which probably means he's not there yet.
