Coaches (AFCA) should announce their team tomorrow. I believe this means Corum and Olu will both be consensus All Americans. Corum still has a shot at being a unanimous All American.

Awesome for both!! Quick question for those in the know - there's the wall in Schembechler Hall with pictures of all of the All Americans wearing their M sweaters. Is there a specific All American distinction (AP/Consensus/Unanimous) they need to achieve to get their picture on the wall?

Corum would join some pretty elite company as a Unanimous All-American. In the last 30 years our Unanimous All-Americans have been: Aidan Hutchinson, Jabrill Peppers, Jake Long, LaMarr Woodley, Braylon Edwards, Steve Hutchinson, Charles Woodson, and Desmond Howard. Blake definitely fits right in with those all-time greats.

Yea I hear you and I agree but that's because I'm a homer. FWIW Mel Kiper has Schmitz ahead of Olu on his big board. They're both great players who play for great lines and had excellent RBs behind them. OL, with its lack of stats, is notoriously the toughest unit to judge and even tougher on an individual level. PFF's grading seems to underrate Michigan's line.

It wouldv'e been cool to see Olu clean up the all-american lists, but I'm not too broken up about it. Altho I do think it's a bigger "argh" than Blake not going to NYC. (also while i know there was no chance, just gonna say, Olu should have gone to NYC)

Would love to see Corum get unanimous AA. For as much as he deserved to be higher up in heisman voting, to see him get that kind of recognition would be a great honor and well-deserved imo. As a reminder, since the beginning of the 90’s, this is the group of Michigan players that would put him in: Desmond Howard, Charles Woodson, Steve Hutchinson, Braylon Edwards, LaMarr Woodley, Jake Long, Jabrill Peppers, Aidan Hutchinson. That’s it.

The lack of individual honors this year must highlight the true team effort that we have witnessed.  That the team has only two probable consensus All-Americans is completely nuts!

For instance, how does the Big 10's most valuable defensive player, Mike Morris, not deserve first team All-America status?  Was it because Michigan's offense dominated games with 40 minutes of play so his stats aren't as impressive as those who were named before him?  And Jake Moody -- without Moody and his pressure-packed field goals, Michigan doesn't finish undefeated!

Beating TCU and then the Georgia/Ohio State winner will salve the wounds!
