Spartan's Fight Songs Updated Lyrics
With the suspensions of the MSU football players, MSU needs to update their fight song lyrics to the following:
On the banks of the Red Cedar,
There's a prison that's known to all;
Its specialty is fighting,
And those Spartans play unfair;
Spartan teams are never beaten,
All through the Dorms they'll fight;
Fight for the only colors:
Green and White.
Go right to jail for MSU,
Watch the arrests keep growing,
Spartan teams are bound to win,
They're fighting with a vim!
Rah! Rah! Rah!
See the other students are weakening,
We're going to win this game,
Fight! Fight! Rah! Team, Fight!
Victory for MSU!
(I know it is not the best but tried to change it a little to poke a little fun at MSU)
EDIT: Per suggestion, made a change that is more appropriate

Just an hour from Ann Arbor
There's a school that's known to all
Their specialty is fighting
And those sPartys assault all
Spartan teams unleash a beatin'
Freshmen eggheads they'll fight
Mech E kids in the hos-pi...
tal tonight.
Things beat you at MSU
Bystanders lock your dead bolts!
Spartan teams are bored tonight
they're lookin' for a fight (throw down, brah!)
See their freshmen cowering
They're gonna beat them all!
Punch! Punch! Boom! Kick! Cry!
3 cheers all for Sparty Ball!

"It's specialty is winning" you might want to change that to something truthful

As good as those both are...I still find the original lyrics a real laugh:
On the banks of the Red Cedar, There's a school that's known to all; Its specialty is farming, And those farmers play football; Aggie teams are never beaten, All through the game they'll fight; Fight for the only colors: Green and White. Smash right through that line of blue, Watch the points keep growing. Aggie teams are bound to win, They're fighting with a vim! Rah! Rah! Rah! Michigan is weakening, We're going to win this game. Fight! Fight! Rah! Team, Fight! Victory for M.A.C.!

Even back then, MSU was defining itself by comparing itself to UM instead of pioneering their own trail. Some things never change.
