The Michigan hockey team announced a bit of news today, as Senior forward Michael Pastujov was named an alternate captain for the second half of the season.

The team takes on MSU tonight at 7pm on BTN+, and plays again tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 on BTN(!!!!!). Our young guns should be back from the World Juniors where Team USA won Gold, so it looks to be a fun weekend.

Is there any quarantine rules for the players returning from the World Juniors?
I know that the six players that flew together to their teams in LA and Anaheim did not have to go through an NHL mandated quarantine because they went from the World Juniors bubble, chartered a flight and went immediately to their teams training camps. Unsure what Michigan or the NCAA mandates, if anything.

They just have to comply with the school's/Big Ten's testing policy.

Correct, it’s whatever the B1G/Michigan require. Bordeleau and Beecher didn’t end up going to the World Juniors so they’ll be back no matter what. The three that went should be back, since I’m unaware of any quarantine rules in place that would restrict that.
