Softball on to Finals of B10 Tournament
Well the early start means most of us are just waking up to find out that the Softball team won 8-3 over Wisconsin. I just found the boxscore to share. Go Blue!
Thanks for posting this. NW and Minnesota are playing now. The final is supposed to be a half hour or so after that ends. I understand they have compacted the schedule to avoid weather issues.
I'm at the games. Our girls bats were hot. Hope they continue in the final. Weather is still OK but rain could be coming. Minnesota has hit 2 home runs and leads Northwestern 3-0 heading to the bottom of the second. Northwestern has already changed pitchers

Nope actually on parents of two teenage daughter time.. I get my sleep whenever I can.
It looks like Minnesota is going to win the game. My question is if Fiser can/will pitch in the championship game. She is dealing out there with a lot of Ks. I know softball pitching is a lot less strenuous on the arm so they will throw more pitches than baseball.
Minnesota is electing to start their #2, Sydney Smith, and save Fiser. Hope we jump on them early and often. Amber Fiser is really amazing. She had 15 Ks out of 21 outs in NW game.
