Playing with confidence, having fun, and believing you can win is a necessary but not sufficient condition to having a really successful football team. While we still don’t know where the second half of the season will end up, there have been more than a couple of Michigan teams in the recent past that didn’t seem to have mentality (from the outside looking in, at least) and I’m glad this one seems to.

OP should reference "Thunderstruck" instead of "Jump Around". The former is Nebraska while the latter is Wisconsin.

Agreed, but it was the same energy as the "Jump Around" situation at Wisconsin, so I assume most people got it (obviously not the first person responding).

Nice to see them respond in that environment. Tip of the hat to Nebraska fans, that atmosphere was awesome. Night games everywhere add juice, but I am not sure Michigan sees another environment like that this season? MSU and PSU probably won't be night games.

MSU is 10/30 - and it could very well be a night game if Fox doesn't get first choice for whatever reason. I could see MSU wanting that at night so their students can be nice and drunk...

Good point. I just assume Fox will take it for the noon if they are both 7-0. No doubt MSU would want it at night. Can't imagine Warde would sign off on a night game at Happy Valley. My understanding is the road team has to agree to night kicks once the calendar flips to Nov.

MSU has already had 3 night games this season (2 home, 1 road), so I think it's unlikely they have a 3rd home night game (they haven't had 3 home night games, or 4 total, in any recent season). But maybe

I absolutely LOVE the energy this team brings. This has been severely lacking the past four or five years. Can you believe this team was actually down by three when they did this? Hell YES!
I'm probably going to get negged to oblivion for this, but I really dig the Thunderstruck thing the Cornhuskers do. This takes Mr. Brightside out behind the woodshed. I WAS SHAKING AT THE KNEEEEEEEES!!!

This team has a mental edge to it. They're salty and have an IDGAF about you and your crowd type of mentality. Go ahead and play your song-- we're going to drink from your milkshake and have your fun. I haven't seen that from a Michigan team in a long while.
