crap. I mean, I knew he was a walk-on but this blurb from the article says it all about our depth in the secondary last year:
"...Kovacs wasn't heavily recruited. In fact, his best offer out of Clay High in Oregon, Ohio, was a walk-on spot at Toledo."
We won 5 games with a MAC walk-on as one of our most consistent defenders!
I'd say the future looks bright.
Starving for some wins!
Kovacs is a good story and he'll continue to get playing time, but I'm hoping he doesn't make it back on this list next year.
