Semi-OT: Franz Leads Germany Literally Over Giannis & Greece

When he came in as Moe's younger brother (thank you, Coach Beilein!), I guess I tended to see him as younger & smaller. Though he is thinner than Moe, he's definitely not lesser.

Franz had a great game and was deadly from three (5/7). He had 19 points and 4 rebounds for Germany. It was a back and forth affair with Greece leading 61-57 at halftime after a half court buzzer beater. Germany then came out in the second half and went on a 20-1 run and pretty much sealed them game right there. Giannis was his regular dominate self but was ejected early in the 4th for picking up a second unsportsmanlike foul.

Germany plays Spain in the semifinals on Friday at 2:30 pm. The games are streamed on ESPN+ if you have that or you can look for an alternate stream online.

If I recall correctly Giannis had a lot of good things to say about Franz when Herr Wagner lit him up the first time they played last NBA season. I guess game recognize game

Wouldn't literally mean that he actually walked on top of Giannis and the land mass that is Greece?

Kid is humble too...this is great to see.

Franz is my favorite Wolverine baller since Burke. Still think he fell too far in the draft.
