ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's and women's basketball teams will be holding canned food drives to benefit the Food Gatherers Food Bank of Ann Arbor. This season marks the third straight that the Wolverine basketball programs will hold food gathering campaigns.
The men's basketball team will hold its drive on Saturday, Nov. 13, at its regular season-opener against South Carolina Upstate at 7 p.m., while the women's team will hold its food drive on Monday, Nov. 15, when it hosts Xavier at 7 p.m.
Fans that bring two canned food items to gate A to either game will receive admission for only $1. The Wolverines are hoping to reach 2,500 cans from each game to donate to Food Gatherers.
For information about the Food Gathers, please visit www.foodgatherers.org or call (734) 761-2796. For additional information about the food drives at Crisler Arena, please contact Katy Jackson-Hepner at (734) 647-1261 or [email protected] in the U-M Marketing Department.

...the couple of cans = 2 cans of food.
Srsly, it's nice to see the AD do this promotion. The food drive, the Vets Salute at last week's football game w/ donations to deployed servicemembers -- all good stuff.

Is there audio for the game?

figure out how to "ala carte" the game, rather it wants me to sign up for a bare minimum "monthly school pass" for 8 bucks, Hrrrm. I would probably pay 3 bucks to check it out via stream, but not 8. Then again, perhaps my BAC can be attributed for my failure to find it.

Most, in fact. Can drive may have doubled the crowd, though.
