season tix question

Submitted by sheepman on
My father in law called me the other day and told me UM is offering all season tix holders more season tix for $400. Anyone who knows - knows this is way below actual cost. Does anyone know what is going on? Are we in trouble financially? What about the sky boxes? Are they selling or did we build $100 million dollar wind breaker? (or sound catcher) Thanks -

x $50 = $400. As I recall, a ticket is $50-$53. So you don't have to make an additional "donation" to get them. Is that right? its a little early to speculate on the boxes, as they aren't yet finished.

being available next season they said they were going to widen the seats in the lower bowl. For this reason, I think they are afraid of offer season tickets to people on the wait list so they don't have to take them from them the following season. $400 is the actual price for the year.

is the fact that we had to add space for the seats. You always get that one huge guy in your row that takes up two seats and ruins it for the rest of the people. If people are too fat to fit then either 1) get a handicap seat or 2)stay at home and save the money for a surgery so you can fit in a regular seat in the future (or maybe put down the bag of potato chips). It also blows my mind that we have to add handicap seats because some lame-brain felt the need to sue (I believe I'm remembering this correctly) over not having enough handicap seats. Is there really a huge Michigan handicap following? I guess it could be because of the Michigan med center, but it's still kind of unfair. We could have so many more seats if it weren't for the handicap seating. This may be a little insensitive of me, but frankly I don't care. If you can't sit in the seats at a game then just stay home. It's not a right to be able to go to a michigan game. It's a privelage. A great privelage, but still just a privelage.
