He told me he was going to commit to Ball State this past weekend, instead of waiting for a Michigan or MSU offer. He said he wanted to be done with it, and he didn't think Michigan was going to offer. Plus he really likes Ball State. He had an offer from CMU where his brother plays, but thought Ball State was a better fit.

I wasn't real impressed with his effort.  He seemed to only run routes if he was expecting the ball and did a horrible job of blocking for his teammates.  He also played safety for his team and I don't think he got a tackle in the game, and looked like he was trying to avoid contact(to stay healthy?).  He did take a 7 yard slant 35 yds for a touchdown after a few nifty and shifty moves.  He also caught a nice fade in the end zone as time expired.  Surely looks like a big WR more then a small TE.
