You're joking with this, right?
"I have this research project that I'm too lazy to do - someone else do it for me."
You must really be Drew Sharp, aren't you?

this is easily the funniest post i've seen in awhile. chitownblue's fear of this dude really being d-sharp is palpable.
January 27th, 2009 at 6:24 PM ^
please no posts asking others to do something possibly worthy of a post.
January 27th, 2009 at 6:28 PM ^
once again, pleeeeze tell me: are you joking around by mocking Sharp or do you actually like him?
January 27th, 2009 at 6:30 PM ^
...if this is really D Sharp.
I have done the research... We are second only to Grand Valley State, which has 8 players and 4 starters. Let's see if that ends up in one of his articles tomorrow. I wouldn't put it past Sharp's intellectual torpidity to push this research onto Mgoblog and then use it without verifying it's validity.

Is math not a part of the curriculum any more?
Big Ten Network has a piece on Big Ten guys in the Super Bowl:
http://www.bigtennetwork.com/blogs/blogs.asp?post_id=2475
Now you just need to find all the other conferences' networks and pull it together.
January 27th, 2009 at 7:18 PM ^
I haven't broken it down by conference yet, though here you go. 2 minute time waste. Interesting fact. The number of players that didn't play football at a university out way the number of players representing tOSUcks.

Wow, I cannot believe that you actually spent time to dig this up. Really, I mean, really?
January 27th, 2009 at 8:38 PM ^
Ryan Mundy. Michigan actually has seven former players in the Super Bowl.
January 27th, 2009 at 10:22 PM ^
There are seven Michigan guys, plus Mundy.
January 27th, 2009 at 9:20 PM ^
In a banquet I went to a few days ago, Lloyd Carr said there are a total of 9 people who have either played or coached at Michigan that will be represented in the Super Bowl. So apparently there are 2 Coaches out there too.
January 28th, 2009 at 11:41 PM ^
There are 7 Michigan players, Ryan Mundy, and Teryl Austin (the Cardinals DB's coach).
