Schaefer Notches 1st W, Softball Tops Dayton 7-0

Softball continued its winning ways today against an over-matched Dayton Flyers squad.  Michigan sent freshman Sarah Schaefer into the circle, and she pitched a complete game 3-hit shutout.  The offense was productive, especially at the top of the order, with Faith Canfield and Natalie Peters combining for 5 hits.

Game 2 on the day is coming up at 4 PM, against Miami (NTM).
