RV Tailgating question

Submitted by sheepman on

So I am a brand new RV owner (though to an RV that is 15 years old). I have been to many tailgates at Pioneer, which are awesome. But shelling out $250 for parking is a bit unrealistic. Also been reading about the brown lot and the Maize lot, which seem viable (and more affordable).

Are there any other MGoRVers out there who know of other places you don't mind sharing? Any private houses/lots that allow RVs and tailgating?

Side note: Didn't want to start a new thread, but does anyone know of a place to get a Harbaugh t-shirt similar to the "Bo Headset" one in the MGoStore? I'm a bit surprised that the MGoStore hasn't made one yet, but I think one of Harbaugh's face alone showing some emotion would sell pretty well.

We've stayed here for the past few years. $250 or so depending on the game, but you get electric hook up which saves on gas for the generator. Spots are limited as there are probably only 40-50 rv spots. The team comes right through on the way to the stadium which is cool. Just another option to know about.

You can get into pioneer around 9-10 on Friday and don't have to take off until Sunday morning. It's well worth the $250 if you stay both nights, enjoy the atmosphere and skip all traffic.

I saw an advertizement about a site to reserve a spot.  I'd look but I only care enough to keep people on the sites payrole, I mean where else could I go to make childish remarks and be pummeled for it.  All for the grand price of zero.
