Running Backs video
I know it’s been little bit... with being home from work since March I finally had some time after a move to put together a video. (I know I should have added Corum but figured I’d hold off for now plus HS highlights and college don’t blend the best IMO. Anyways hope y’all enjoy stay safe and GO BLUE!!!!
Nice use of Travis Scott.
I have a hunch that the uninformed Gophers fans are going to be like, "How the fuck is Chris Evans not out of eligibility?" this year. He broke some runs on them in 2017.
Was rewatching 2016 Iowa last night. Freshman Evans's quickness was sorely missed in the backfield last year.
Am I crazy, or did it seem like Evans may have put on too much bulk and lost some of his speed in 2018? He looked like he was going to be elite in 2016. Hopefully it was just the play calls.
Wasn't the bulk. It was the forcing him to jam it into the line between the guards. That's not his game.
I remember watching that game and us getting called for a penalty on a punt return, and I was excited because I thought “That’ll just make it a longer run for Evans.” Next play, he houses it.
All three, Charbonnet, Haskins and Evans should take a nice performance leap this year. Once the OL settles in and the QB gets his feet under himself this offense may well do more than simply pulls its own weight.
Over the last 10 years as Michigan fans we tend to assume this is what will happen but.... many times it doesn't.
So many young players flash elite ability and then never really put it together as they get into their junior and senior seasons.
Charbonnet and haskins should give all of us excitement for the future but dont automatically put them on a pedestal just yet.
You have no idea what I am going through!
Three days from now the love of my life is gonna be off gettin' married, while I'm stuck here in this goshdang jungle, in goshdang Southeast Asia!
(This line alone sounds like it would make the perfect movie.)
Love SE Asia. Good luck on getting a life.
No time for love, Dr. Jones!
Can't wait to see Evans doing more than easily predictable runs up the middle where everybody watching knows he's getting it.
He's too elite of a runner in space for just that.
He could be in the backfield on most plays paired with one of the other backs and force a safety to watch him and keep a linebacker in conflict. Same formation they had Sainristil in for the Spring Game.
That's a role Donovan Edwards can take over to work him his Freshman year.
Blake is gonna be super nice as well. That speed will be hard to cover.
Glad we're finally adding elite long speed to the roster with him, AJ, and Roman.
I love it!
