Rugby World Cup Quarter-finals Discussion
Since everyone has Peacock now, tune in before the football kickoff, and when we're running out the clock with our 4th-stringers.
Argentina vs Wales - 11am ET
New Zealand vs Ireland - 3pm ET
And two more tomorrow:
Fiji vs England - 11am ET
South Africa vs France - 3pm ET
Can Ireland finally win a QF?
How does a broken cheekbone hold up in international rugby?

I watched game #1 on that terrible app, discontinued it, watch the rest on other services now. Peacock is awful.
I can't believe anyone would keep it. It was a money grab.

Two QFs that should be semifinals. Two QFs that should be group games.

100%. Pool B ended up with the #1, #2, and #5 teams in the world. And the reward for the two teams that advanced were quarterfinal matchups against the #3 or #4 teams in the world. Absolutely brutal gauntlet. Incredibly envious of the other side of the bracket.
I was fortunate enough to be in attendance for the 2019 QF between Ireland vs. NZ. As an Ireland fan, I’m hoping to see a slightly different outcome in today’s match.

I think that rugby players (particularly 7s players) are probably the greatest all around athletes in the world.
More than in any sport they have to have it all:
physical and mental toughness, top speed, power, lower body strength, upper body strength, quickness, agility, endurance to run/move almost continuously over a long period, take and give punishment, play through pain/damage/injuries ...
