Seriously, it's been a while since I laughed out loud at a post. I almost spit Coke all over my keyboard.

Not as great as Raftery slobbering all over Chris Kramer while Manny drops 27 on him.

That was the best part of the evening - the kid is wearing this face mask for a minor injury that happened weeks ago, and Harris is just abusing him, but the announcers kept talking about how gritty he was for being out there. This is not Willis Reed struggling through a game on a badly-injured leg; the kid broke his nose. I'm sure the area is sensitive, but the announcers were acting like the mask was holding his face on.

Raftery was so bad that someone in the production booth must have called attention to it, because he used the phrase "not to favor one team or the other, BUT..." in the second half. Then, O'Brien went out of his way to say something good about UM.
I started watching about five minutes late, and wondered if they had somehow had a technical difficulty, and had to patch in the Purdue announcers' call of this game. I was particularly irritated that Raftery was calling non-existent fouls on UM players but referred to legit fouls that were called on Purdue players as "ticky-tack" and "small change."
It was pretty cool listening to them try to make up for it during the last three minutes, though.....

Dex,
I'm starting to think that "Tater" is putting on an act. Nobody is this awful unless it's on purpose.

But I'm not sure I agree. I think he's really that delusional.

Brian I implore you to drop the banhammer on someone who brings about such blasphemy about our savior Tim. I do not acknowledge false idols like Hummel.

I could have sworn that one of the announcers (probably Raftery) called his performance "courageous." Did anyone else hear that?
Courageous is jumping on a grenade to save your fellow soldiers. Playing a basketball game with a plastic mask on I am pretty sure is not courageous.
first thought when i read the title: impossible
