Renaldo Sagesse picked in the CFL draft
Congrats to Renaldo going pro in football. He went 4th round to the Montreal Alouettes so he gets to go home. Maybe not the NFL, but playing in the CFL is not anything bad, still makes a good living and still gets to show off what going to Michigan does for you. Go Renaldo and Go Blue!!

No other Blue player was chosen in the 6-round CFL draft. They used to draft heavy on Canadian college players and look for 'import' players as free agents, probably the same now.

Congrats Renaldo! Great to hear he's going to be playing football somewhere.
The Alouettes are a well run organization that wins consistently in the league; he'll have time to develop at the pro level as they have some depth on the d-line.
in the first round? Apparently Montreal does. I wonder if the canadian mock drafts had that happening. Canadian Mel Kiper probably flipped his lid after this, I think neither him or McShay had a kicker going until the 4th round.
He never played much but his story about when coach carr came to his school was very cool. The entire town was blown away that coach carr came to canada.
But heaven help him if his teammates find out.
And if he misses the maize & blue, there are a couple of hockey players up there who share his taste in college colors.
