Reddit's Michigan Football Preview
Today, Balrog_of_Morgoth and others posted the Michigan football version of the 132 teams in 132 days project on /r/cfb. This series is intended to highlight all traditions, rivals, players, and so on so the average person can learn all about each school. For all of us, it's all facts we probably know (at least I hope so) but it's still worth a read. Check it out.

Not just any user. Don't make me use my flaming whip again.
Haha fixed. I should have know you'd be here. Well done!
Nicely done, thanks!
By the way, after looking at the series records against our rivals, is there any team that Michigan doesn't have a series lead against?
The only team that Michigan has a losing record against (minimum of 10 games) is USC. We are 4-6 against them.
Thanks! I just looked it up as well. We also have a 6-12 record against Cornell. We need to get them on our OOC schedule for the next 7 years.
I was only considering FBS teams.
Good thing they scheduled a rematch, then!
(goes to shadowy corner to weep softly...)
I didn't write this by myself. I got a lot of help from Talpostal and some other users. Also, check out the comments section since there is a lot more information there (since we maxed out the word count for the post).
Sweet post!
On an unrelated note, when you log in, does the password request screen say "You shall not pass!" or does it only say that when you input the wrong password?
Gandalf is actually a pretty nice dude and let's me pass all the time. He was just tyring to impress everyone in front of the camera at the Bridge of Khazad Dum.
This was awesome. Nicely done. Also this:
"Rick’s American Cafe - A quiet European-style cafe known for gourmet vegan food."
Hilarious.
That is a pretty solid summary, right down to the sampling of "Greatest Plays" at the end. With regards to the bullet for UTL, of course, it should be noted that Don Criqui is still waiting for a signal as far as anyone knows right now.
Great work, and thanks for sharing it! It serves as an excellent introduction for anyone unfamiliar with Michigan and its traditions.
Outside of that context, the Hawaiian War Chant almost universally follows the playing of Temptation with the announcer and crowd declaring “You can’t have one without the other!”)I thought the only time the Hawaiian War Chant is played nowadays is at halftime of the Homecoming game. Is it played on other occasions?
The band plays it after every game, along with a few other traditionals and selections from that week's halftime show. Most people don't stick around for the post-game show, though. I won't blame you for not knowing.
Great write up.
One of the links to Michigan cheerleaders shows them with giant Minnie Mouse bows on top of their heads. I never knew Michigan cheerleaders ever did this; I always thought of it as a southern thing that looks ridiculous.
