Maybe that actually helps us. Let the recruits see the good weather in Michigan. The snow should be gone by then, right?

But in all seriousness, I'm curious about the effect this is gonna have on the transfer portal and/or decommitments. How many athletes have committed or even signed this past signing period without stepping foot on their future campus?

"No one represents concerns of recruits on that committee"

Can you imagine what the NCAA would be like if it had the best interests of the players in mind, future as well as present? Mark Emmert would look like a humane ass and not just an ass.

Columbus, Ohio

Today, The Ohio State University compliance office has informed the NCAA about minor violations including 1,214,311 impermissible phone calls, texts and emails to student athletes. None of the violations are major but the report included 1,213,900 violations that included "prospective student athletes".

The figures are a result of an open records request submitted on June 1, 2021 and released Friday at 4:59 pm by the OSU public records office.

OSU Athletic Director and Vice President Gene Smith stated: "I hope the NCAA doesn't come down too hard on Ohio University athletics. He also noted that Michigan and Michigan State University had a total of 7 and 9 similar violations. Smith stated: "our friendly competitors in the conference are also vulnerable to some lack of oversight at times".
