Quotes from the new DC:
On recruiting:
One of the first tasks for Robinson, who was expected back in town today, is to contribute to Michigan's recruiting efforts before National Signing Day on Feb. 4.
"I'd like to be very involved," Robinson said. "We need a full staff of people going at it, and I want to help in any way I can."
On setting up the new D:
"I think the most important thing is to sit down with the other coaches and get a real idea about the personnel," he said. "I think so often you lock into what you're going to do before you realize what you have. You have to get an idea about what are your strengths and what are your weaknesses. Everybody has both, so there will be an evaluation process to get a feel for that."

the theory that some people on this board threw out regarding the assistant coaches being responsible for all of the recruiting.

And this article does nothing to disprove that theory, although "all" should be replaced with "the vast majority."
Saying "I want to help in any way I can" does not mean "Rich Rodriguez has given me responsibility for 15% of the recruits."

I am not going to pass judgement on him at Michigan until I have something to base it on. Michigan is not Syracuse and nor is the level of talent.
