UNBELIEVABLE

Disagree. I've been talking up Purdue for a few weeks now. They are a good team physically. They just haven't responded well to their own mistakes. I wrote them off after the early fumble, but Pryor let them back into the game time and time again. Pryor eliminated Purdue's mental breakdowns. I really think Purdue, physically, is a top 4 team in the BigTen. Overall, they're probably 6 or 7.

They had purdue in a 4th and punting situation but a flag ended it. Simple as that.

No, it's not that simple... One play NEVER determines a game. OSU would still have been down by 8 points and Pryor had proven the entire game he was incapable of moving the ball. Purdue dominated most of the game and outplayed the Buckeyes; in that sense, it is pretty simple.

...one of the dumbest comments ever. like osu was going to drive 80 yds with no timeouts left and about a min left with that offense...and score a TD...and get the 2 pt conversion.
ya that penalty cost them the game.

He is an OSU fan. I wasn't watching, but according to him Purdue fumbled in the first half, but the refs made an idiotic mistake and didn't give OSU the ball. Can anyone verify this?
It makes me remember how I felt when the Tigers (play in game), Wings(Game 3 of SC Finals), Lions (BS Pass Interference that cost them game at MIN last year), and Wolverines (Iowa game last week) got dicked over, and I don't wish that feeling on anyone except the worst scumbags I know. (My roommate is not a scumbag.)

how um got "dicked over" last week? i was at the game. nothing really stood out to me. maybe a few holding non calls, but that happens to every team in every game. what did the refs miss?
October 17th, 2009 at 3:50 PM ^
I remember reading an article, I can't find it right now, but some one wrote that there were a lot of blatant holdings that were missed. I will post it if I can find it. I agree, however, that game wasn't the best example of the Wolverines getting dicked over. Please disregard last week's Iowa game above, and replace it with 2005 Alamo Bowl. Thank you.

those alamo bowl refs were geniuses. easily the worst officiated game in any sport i've seen. just because there were so many ref gafs throughout the entire game.

After that Alamo Bowl game, both Herbstreit and Alberts called it the worst officiated game in the history of bowl games. And Alberts is a Nebraska alum.

I see that Buckeye fans have coined an affectionate new nickname for their QB: "Terrellasari".
