chrisgocomment I get it. You clearly know more about Michigan sports than any of us ever could hope to know, but cut us some slack we are just trying to learn. Also we will never forget how in the know you are.

And Saint Tate raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this thy hand grenade, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy." And the Lord did grin. And the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths, and carp and anchovies, and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit-bats and large chu...

There is another commenter name "Chrisgocomment" (with an 'h') that got some people butthurt, so one of them decided to make an especially witty and sharp alternate account through which this individual could make this epically stupid post. In other words, this thread once again proves that the internet is nothing more than an elementary school playground built adjacent to a titty bar, with the violent drunks and child molesters to boot.

I have an abnormal crush on Luke Glendening. Almost as large as the one I have on Tim Miller. Glendening is the next Tim Miller. Love the kid.

Chris, like any good action hero, James Bond, or every superhero ever created... you've reached the episode where someone gets plastic surgery to look and act and resemble you in every way with the intent to destroy you. Congratulations, you have your own doppleganger. Best part is... you may never even know who the bastard is!

Maybe some gentle guidelines, not to be confused with rules, which most people hate, could be introduced. We are all UM fans here, but sometimes we seem to forget that we all have at least that one thing in common. It is impossible to have everyone treat each other with respect all the time on any public forum (and most closed groups, for that matter), but sometimes a little civility goes a long way. There will be trolls, who I think should always be banned ASAP, and chronic "devil's advocates," whose status should be determined on an individual basis, but for the most part the contributors here seem to have their hearts in the right place. I think it is a lot more productive if we remember that there is a human being behind every post, and try not to engage in personal insults. There is a big difference between posting "I disagree with your point because...." or "I think....." and "that is the most idiotic post I have ever seen and you are a moron," but some posters seem not to be able to distinguish one from the other. My experience has been that if we discuss ideas without insulting each other, it is a lot more fun in any forum. Unless, of course, someone is just here to troll. Then I think they deserve what they get. Of course, that is just one person's opinion. Your mileage may vary.

The crazy thing is that there already ARE rules here. One of them is to refrain from referring to Ohio State as "tO$U" or posting generic jokes about "LOL DID U HEER THE LIBARY BURN DOWN THEY DIDNT GET TO COLOR THE PICTURES". Just sayin'
