Players practice without coaches

As the players practice and condition without the coaches, I sure hope that they have access to those machines that replicate punts so that our skill players can practice catching balls that were punted and kicked. I think I saw enough muffs for a lifetime this year. Looking forward to 2009.

I'm sorry, I wasn't making a joke. There is no need to be so hostile. I haven't missed a game in 19 seasons. And it seems as if there were as many botched attempts to catch kicks and punts as I did in all of the previous seasons combined. This is a serious issue that the coaches need to have the players address in the off season. It led to many turnovers and poorer return yardage. I think we'll be competing for the BigTen title again in the 2010 season. Rodriquez has us on the right track, but simple fundamentals like struggling to catch a punt has been a major let down that has swung momentum in favor of our opponents in virtually almost every game this year.

Oh, still talking football? "Watching Michigan football this year, I have seen more muffs than a seventy year old gynecologist" (rimshot) "You've been a great crowd, tip your waitress, try the veal"

Had I known that was all it took, I would have told bad snatch jokes a long time ago. Seriously, wildbackdunesman, I agree anything to cut down on unforced errors like fielding KOs, punts. Please lighten up. I wasn't trying to insult you, just trying to get you to exercise your sense of humor. And Brodie, calling it "old" slang made me feel like Monte Burns whipping out a "twenty-three skidoo!"
