Piece on Blake Corum's childhood training regimin
I know's been a lot of Blake Corum content this week, but don't think I've seen this piece posted. It's never surprising that a future elite athlete was a bit more driven and motivated than most of us growing up, but the fact that he asked at 7 to go to a 5 am training camp an hour from home jumped out at me. No matter what physical gifts you get, it takes an ungodly amount of work to get to the highest level. There aren’t many NFL lottery tickets out there and someone will outwork you to get yours. A lot of kids don’t get that and you get 5* busts.
Edit: not to mention this is contagious and spreads through the team. It’s huge to have workout warriors.
