Probably would delete if I were a mod. Seems in poor taste. Like the important thing here is the Michigan football team's potential reputation loss in an alternate world in which he came to school at Michigan?

There are plenty of people who are interested in the careers of former Michigan commits, players, etc.

Sure, but the framing of "dodged a bullet" is the thing I'm objecting to. Not "Former recruit Pharoah Brown legal trouble," which would seem more like sharing news and not a rhetorical sigh of relief that he's not affiliated with Michigan.
