It had to be the Browns. Talk about the emotional highs and lows! Hope it all works out for him and he has a good career.
Let's just hope it goes better for him in Cleveland than it did for Braylon
But seriously, it's an all new front office for the Browns as of a year ago, new coaching staff and everything else. Maybe it'll be a different experience for Pep than it has been for... most every other player there the last decade not named Joe Thomas.
The fact that the franchise didn't way overreach for Trubisky *cough cough wtf Chicago?! cough cough* may actually be a sign that Cleveland is coming to their senses a bit.
Yeah, it's Ohio, and a pathetically inept franchise. But Cleveland's actually putting together the pieces of a potentially damn good defense and just added both Myles Garrett and Jabrill to it. They avoided the temptation of overdrafting Trubisky at #1 and took the best player, and they've been stockpiling picks like a team that's finally gotten smart. Maybe Jabrill will be part of turning things around there. Best of luck to him.
Excited to see what Peppers can do in the NFL, even if he has to start his career with the Browns.
Actually, this should be doubly interesting now - as someone mentioned above, a great deal of Browns fans are also Buckeye fans, so in a stunning reversal of another thread on the board, Buckeye fans in great numbers now get to see a player they loathe on a team they love.
