"Pep Rally"
Got an email about the "Pep Rally" before the spring game. The location is at Crisler Arena. Cost=$30 per adult (kids under 12 free). Among other things, autographs are mentioned. I seem to recall that the team had something like this last year. I wouldn't mind a Harbaugh signature on a mini-helmet to add to my collection. I'm guessing the "big guns" such as JJ, Edwards, Corum, Will, etc. won't be signing. Curious if anyone out there has been to one of these and if it's worth the 2 hour drive?
Thanks in advance!
Got the same email and had many of the same questions.
I'll wait with my popcorn for good answers:
Qui-Gon Jinn eats popcorn.
I have not been, but it is live Michigan football content. You should be going to the spring game anyways, so make a day of it. No way you'll regret it!
"Pep Hamilton"
Oh, he will be there, I am sure. He will be very confused as to why he was invited, of course, but those are the sorts of things that can be ironed out at the last minute.
"Pep Feagin"
This is a NIL Pep Rally with 180 student-athletes; nice to see the players getting compensated. Is it worth a 2-hour drive? That all depends on a person's financials and if they had anything else planned already. Speaking for myself, it's worth the drive, and it's winter in Michigan. There's nothing to do anyway.
Is this like the OSU pep rally where they were hyped and talked tough about being so much tougher and having toughness going into the tough game last year?
Then lost 45-23? Must have been tough.
45-23, you say? Tell me more.
Idk why this post seems to be so incredulous to the concept of this pep rally. It's probably a great NIL even for player who normally don't earn much, great for fan engagement, and a fun time for families and kids. This type of thing is great for the university
Could one pay more than $30 to enter? Asking for a very rich friend.
Thinking more along the lines of $45.23?
Actually, I was thinking if there is anything from stopping Charles Woodson, Tom Brady, and Duncan Robinson from waltzing into Crisler after donating far more than $30 to support our athletes in this endeavor
