Well this is the first reason why I didn't buy into the Lions' hype for this season.  Sure all the pieces seemed to be in place, but I remember 2 months ago when a veteran player (can't remember his name, but I feel as if it was Polomalu or something) was giving advice to the rookies and he said don't work out too hard over the summer because when you get to camp there will be a lot of injuries in the first couple weeks.

Well, the lions relied a lot upon the last draft class where players had to work out by themselves over the summer, which probably has factored into so many early season injuries.  

Plus, it's the Lions

This is a fucking joke.

This rookie class is going to be a WASHOUT for 2011. Fairley can't realistically be expected to make a real impact until Year 2 now with his injury/missed camp. LeShoure will have a hard time ever making a good career for himself with an ACL tear this early. Titus Young keeps missing practice.

Party but I heard the news earlier. There is nothing to say about this, its always something and it hurts especially when you get so happy and excited only to be trampled on with news like this that happens every single year.
