OT: WOO Sunbelt Officials/Alamo Bowl Thread

Submitted by formerlyanonymous on
I hate the Alamo Bowl. But its all I got on the television tonight. The stadium is pretty crappy, but if there is a bowl city I can't get enough of its San Antonio (partially as I live only 3 hours from it). Here's hoping NU gets a big win for the Big10. This running play Mizzou is trying with the WR coming over is not working thus far. The first two were ugly losses. Timing issue maybe? Big interception!

All I hear from sports radio here in Vegas is how much they hate the Big 10. Here's hoping the B10 teams pull off some upsets and shuts a lot of people up

I don't recall this game being on a Monday before. Is that always the case? Maybe I just wasn't working in the past b/c today blows. work work work...ahh well New Years Eve is coming to heal all wounds. I do know that when Michigan was in the Alamo Bowl in 2005 I was in Santa Fe, NM for New Years. So, that was sweet as I was not working and that is always good.

I did not even watch the 2005 Alamo Bowl. A rare UM game i did not watch. I spent much of that night in northern Michigan, drinking a beer in a hot tub with a hot chick. Trust me, I was outkicking my coverage that night. And, it seemed more preferable to watching a Michigan game when I had a chunk of change on the other team. UM was -11. That wasn't going to happen in a million years. I'll never forget that night. In 1995, I was in the same northern Michigan area at a pretty big holiday party. A bunch of us were watching in the bar (we were at rented out restaurant) getting obliterated in the process. basically, i have no memories of anything UM has done in the Alamo Bowl.

nw kicked ass and did the big 10 proud, unlike wisky. Pat fitzgerald should have been coach of the year, or maybe dantonio, as big of an asshole he is.
