OT - Who Is Your Hero?

Mates,

Most folks have someone they looked up to, admired, were mentored by in some meaningful and enduring fashion.   It might be your mom/dad, a sibling, a phenomenol teacher or co-worker, whoever.  They spoke into your life, they gave you a vision, they helped you develop character traits critical to your life.   

So I ask you, who is/was your hero?   Who had the most impact on your develpment and why?

My Dad. Came from nothing to become an All-American and then a 30+ year coaching career at the greatest university in the world and has given my sister and I everything we've ever wanted. Without a doubt, he's my hero.

Not because he's done anything particularly useful or recovered from some medical issue. Just because he's an interesting person and was created under rather unique circumstances.
