OT - watching ESPN3 on an Android phone?
I finally got a smartphone last week. Android 2.2. 3G, not 4G. Is there an app I need to download to be able to watch ESPN3? I was able to log in, but when I click watch now nothing really happens. Same question for Big Ten Network live streams (haven't tried that yet).

Doesn't your internet provider need to have a partnership with ESPN3 in order to stream? I don't know if 3g internet providers have this partnership or not. Does anyone know?

which allows me to access ESPN3 remotely (except at my office, which blocks it). It could be that I was too impatient in letting it load, but I was giving it a few minutes.

I was talking about 3g, are you talking about broadband/wifi?If so, then yeah, it's gonna depend on your broadband provider. But if you're trying to use 3g, I don't know if the telecom companies (verizon, t-mobile, etc.) have a partnership with espn3.

Try not logging in with you ISP id. I believe that you can just go ahead and watch as if you were at home on your computer(not needing to log in).

My provider is Sprint. When I went to ESPN3 on my phone it asked for my log in and recognized me. Then when I tried to watch, I got interminable loading. So, I don't know if I am just too impatient or need an additional app.

Pretty sure Verizon would work because I have FiOS and that allows me to watch espn3, if i'm not mistaken.

I've accessed ESPN3 on my iPhone using Orb.

I have a Droid Incredible with froyo. ESPN3 works if you log in with your supported home internet provider (I have Charter) but it's pretty choppy over 3g...
