Forgive me for the poor timing (Expansion drama), but this is very important. You can vote up to 25 times with a single email address, and I think Cabby deserves a starting role after what he's been able to do this year. Forgive me if this has been posted before but I feel this has to be front page material.

As you can see he's trailing by 300,000. MGoBlog, you know what to do.

Voting ends July 1.

but if he doesn't make it I won't be ticked.  Everyone knos how the Yanks and Sawx stuff the ballots.  I wouldnt mind the big man taking a few days off to stew on getting screwed over and come back in the 2nd half and go after that Triple Crown and the playoffs.

...It is an admonishment for not being totally committed to the team, and winning the division at the end of last year.  Don't get me wrong I love the guy as a ball player, but as of this year he lost my vote because of last year.

I'll vote for him next year though.

is .324/34 HR/103 RBI not enough for you for him to be totally committed to the team?  He has .396 OBP which is also impressive and he played in pretty much every game last season.  That is one incident regarding the drinking with his buddies from White Sox and you can't assume that he has done it all year long.  Otherwise, his numbers would really suffer, but it is still strong.  I don't know about you but I think that you are overreacting about that one tiny incident.

...part of a team then numbers.  I am a die hard Tiger fan.  They are probably my biggest sports passion, right next to Michigan football.  I watched that Tiger series against the White Sox at the end of last year, and I am sorry I cannot vote for someone who stayed out unitl 6am drunk when his team needed 1 game to win a division for the first time since 1987.  But If you need to look at numbers, look his number from that series.  Pathetic.

It is my opinion and feel free to disagree with it if you will.  But I'm not going to be there for Cabrera this year when he wasn't there for the team last year.

And as far as overreacting perhaps you are right, again I'll vote again next year, but as for this year I can't, I'm still upset they blew that division.

crying over spilled milk.  get over it.  That's probably the stupidest reason not to vote for Cabrera this season when statistically he is having his best season of his career.

Cabrera wasn't the only one who struggled against the White Sox so to place a blame on only one player is ridiculous especially when you consider that Cabrera basically carried the offense which has been awful last year.  He was the MVP of the team and he was there for the team all year long.  Just to say that he was not there for the team on that series is stupid.

Wow what a tool. The 2010 All Star game is supposed to be based on the merits of his 2010 success, not 2009, 2008, etc. Thats why I as a Yankee fan dont think Texeira should be 2nd in votes because in 2010 he is clearly not the 2nd best 1st baseman.

Cabrera received all of my votes and he will be an All Star regardless, as a starter or coming off the bench.

He'll make the team but probably wont start since he trails Morneau and Texeira. I'm a Yankees fan as well but I'll admit that Tex deserves to be no where near Canbrera.

I voted the max 25 times and stuffed for Cabrera, A Jackson, and Maggs but I did bote honestly on the NL and rest of AL. After lookin at the stats I didnt know that Vlad was having such a good year.

make it to the all-star via coaches/players pick. His numbers speak for themselves.  He has been ridiculous this year thus far and is really carrying the Tigers offense.
