Given their recent past, unless Turner's demands are patently ridiculous and he won't move off of them, I'd be pretty surprised if the Tigers didn't pony up for him.
Of course, now that you get a compensation pick at around the same spot the next year if you don't sign your guy, they do have an out if his demands are absurd. That pick would be between 10 and 14, depending on how many of the remaining unsigned guys in front of him end up signing.
