OT (soccer)- Fabrice Muamba talking, moving limbs
Fabrice Muamba, 23 year old midfielder for Bolton Wanderers suffered a cardiac arrest this past saturday. It took 2 hours of resuscitation for his heart to begin beating on his own.
According to a friend of his, he has began speaking and moving his limbs. While he is still listed in critical condition, my doctor friend thinks that if he is talking he is most likely out of the woods and should survive.
Scary stuff. He grew up in and escaped the deadliest civil war since World War II (Zaire). Hope he makes a full recovery, though I doubt he will play soccer ever again.
I was watching this live when it happened. Probably the scariest sporting moment I've seen. It sounds like he's making good progress. Let's hope that continues.
For the sake of his 3-year old son and fiancee, I pray to God he makes a full recovery.
Get well Muamba

thing to see. Best wishes for him, and his family.
Good to know he's making progress.
Wouldn't want to see what happened to Marc-Vivien Foe happen again
One of the best moments of the weekend was when Gary Cahill (Muamba's ex-teamate) scored for Chelsea, and then showed his support.

on his heart by medical staff. Wow, that's impressive.
Was watching a recording of this game yesterday and had no idea what had happened, it was very surreal. Hope he continues to improve.
Yeah, I had no idea they could even get a heart going again after that long. I'm guessing it wasn't all manual CPR of course but still.
Hope he makes as a full a recovery as possible. Scary stuff.
Going to see Bolton play Saturday. Should be a great atmosphere.
