If you think about it, he is the guy who handles things when Tebow can't. So for award voters, that's like being the guy who bails out God.

Of course a Tim Tebow teammate will win this. Have to. No way a Michigan player wins a deserved award.

I tried to point out to the Gator fan with whom I cohabit that winning this award would mean a lot more to Michigan fans than Florida ones, but he wasn't interested.
