OT: Question re: NCAA for Sony Wii

Submitted by michgoblue on
Before my question, let me preface by noting that, unfortunately, I am old (like over 30 old) and that the last time I played any video games regularly was when my roommates and I spent the better part of our senior year playing NHL '97. My wife just got me a Sony Wii for my birthday, and I am looking for a decent football game. I have seen NCAA 2009, and wanted to know what people's thoughts were on it. Does it have Michigan as a team, and if so, will I be stuck with the (mostly) crappy members of our 2008 or 2009 team? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes, it does have Michigan. Yes, it has the (crappy?) roster. Yes, you can adjust the difficulty level and win 10+ consecutive National Championships. Yes, it will be gratifying. Yes, the Free Press will call you a cheater.

I knew this post would be bad when I saw Sony Wii in the title, it did not disappoint. Does a college football game have one of the most important football teams of all time in it....hmmmmmm

Hold on, I need to pull over before I can answer your question. It's hard trying to drive my Audi Corolla and answer questions on the LG iPhone at the same time.

Actually, 2011 does in fact = next year, considering it is currently 2010. I agree with what you are saying though, since NCAA 2011 will come out this year. I can't wait for John Madden's NBA March Madness 2k11. I just hope it is available for the Sony Wii. The Sony Wii is worth getting just for the VHS-Ray player.

No offense my man, but for some reason that's not so hard to believe. Don't worry, this thread got absolutely hilarious.
