I think society would be well served if the authorities dropped all charges, provided him with three cases of Old Style, and shut down a mile or two of I-75 to encourage nature to take its course. The Youtube would be a sensation.
This couldn't happen anywhere else. Ohio routinely shames Alabama and West Virginnie in the redneck department.
I clicked on that link looking forward to a story--and, if I was to be REALLY lucky, a photo reel of an older man garbed in a tattered scarlet and gray sweatsuit ensemble wrapped around a mangled bar stool--about worthlessness.
Instead, I learned a bit about a twenty-something with a hunger for taking things apart, rebuilding them uniquely, and--later--taking said uniquely rebuilt mechanical things for a ride with friends, while in a mind-altered state.
It's a quirky story. But it's also nearly commendable. And positively hilarious.
This guy is a badass. Face it. The only way this guy would be more badass is if he got into a freeway chase on the damn thing with the po-po.
