OT - NFL Bounty Hunters

Submitted by anup414 on

So I'm sure most of you have seen all this news about the NFL, Roger Goodell giving out excessive fines for hard hits, and players saying that they put bounties on opposing players and pay teammates for hard hits.

In the internet age and with ESPN being accessible 247, is all of this just a big show put on by the NFL? They started calling it bounty hunting! I mean I understand the analogy, but it's football! The NFL is starting to remind me of the WWF from back in the day, with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon (Roger Goodell).

And then the other story about Brett Farve calling the Lions or something and betraying the Packers.

What do other people think about all this? Do they exaggerate things just so they can be discussed by the media and consumed by the public?
